Welcome to Rostock, Germany.
Rostock Harbor is located on the other side of Warnow, the river that flows through the city. On the port side, it is easy to drive on to other destinations in Germany and Europe. A couple of kilometers from the port there are also border shops that are easy to approach by car.
Travelers who want to travel by public transport to Rostock City or to the cozy coastal town of Warnemünde can take a bus from the adjacent bus station. No bus goes directly so travelers must change at other traffic hubs to get to Rostock City or Warnemünde. Tickets can be purchased in the buses with cards. A ticket costs 2.40 Euro and is valid for 90 minutes. It is also possible to buy a 24-hour ticket.
